The Svetlana 4CX250BC\/8957 is a compact metal\/ceramic radial beam tetrode with a plate dissipation rating of 250 watts with forced-air cooling. The 4CX250BC is inteded for Class AB SSB linear RF amplifier service. It is intended for stationary and mobile equipment designs with power amplification at frequencies up to 500 MHz. The 4CX250BC has an indirectly-heated oxide cathode which operates at a low temperature at rated heater voltage for extended life.<\/p>\n
The Svetlana 4CX250BC is manufactured in the Svetlana factory in St. Petersburg, Russia, and is designed to be a direct replacement for the 4CX250BC\/8957 manufactured in the United States.<\/p>\n
